Supplement to the existing data protection guidelines

Dear Guest,

please be informed that due to Hungarian local regulations we are obliged to collect some addition personal data and transfer it to the authorities. This processing of personal data is not based on our discretion, we are just executing the statutory requirements imposed on us.

Please note the following:

Pursuant to Act CLVI of 2016 we are obliged to collect the personal data listed in the Act and transfer to a governmental hosting provider. The collection of such information and the transmission takes place via a device also provided by the government. For service providers above who are having more than 16 rooms capacity are obliged to use the device.

The purpose of data processing is to secure peoples’ health and property and to ensure the compliance with local rules of people coming from third countries or other people who are having the right to stay in Hungary or having the freedom of movement within the EU.

Based on the above mentioned circumstances we are collecting the following personal data:

For personal data which the reading device can’t read or the device having read incorrectly our staff have to register manually.

For the above mentioned purpose ID card, passport, driving license is accepted. We highlight that based on the information given by the government the device is not able to scan the photo or biometric identifiers from the cards, such information is not registered and/or transmitted.

Without having shown the official documents for identification and registration the customer is not able to use the services of the company.

The processing of personal data is carried out by the “Magyar Turisztikai Ügynökség”.  Personal data will be deleted on the last day of the next year after the collection of personal data.

If you have any complaints regarding the registration or transmission of personal data, you may have the same rights as regarding any other personal data processing carried out by the company.
